Indians
reign supreme in Ceat Cricket Rating.
Mumbai, November 8, 2002: Four
Indians currently occupy the top four spots in the CCR
Points' table. Rahul Dravid maintains his position at
the top with 65 points. He and his teammates Harbhajan
Singh and Virender Sehwag have been joined in the top
five by Sachin Tendulkar, whose innings of 176 in the
Kolkata Test against the West Indies yielded 10 points.
Sachin holds the third spot in the CCR with 52 points,
two less than Harbhajan and five more than Sehwag. Sharing
the fourth spot with Sehwag is the West Indian opener
Chris Gayle.
The 2-0 triumph against the West Indies in the Test
series has ensured that Team India continues to dominate
the CCR Team Rating with 54 points. Sri Lanka is ranked
second with 47 points.
