CEAT
International Cricket Rating System is the only
system that recognizes the performances of players for
the international cricket played the world over and
rewards them for their performances. The CEAT International
Cricketer of the Year Award is given to the player who
scores the maximum points in a year - the ceat cricket
rating year is from 1st May to 30th April. The
recipient of the award receives an award is Rs.5,00,000/-.
Similarly, The CEAT International
Team of the Year Award is given to the team which scores
themaximum points in a year - the ceat cricket rating
year is from 1st May to 30th April. The team
receives Rs. 10, 00,000/- as an award.
CEAT International Cricket Rating System launched the
International Cricketer of
the Year Award for the first time in 1995-96;
Brian Lara of West
Indies was the recipient of this award.
In the following year the International
Cricket Team of the Year Award was launched
and Pakistan were
the first recipients of this award.
