CEAT International Batsman of the Year - Marvan Atapattu

Marvan Atapattu, the batting genius from Sri Lanka bagged as many as 93 batting points in the CEAT Year 2000-01. He stood second in the overall Ratings with 95 points, 16 behind the number one Murali. Atapattu was in tremendous nick during the CEAT Year. His best performances were two double hundreds in Test; 207 against Pakistan in June 2000 and an unbeaten 201 against England in February 2001.
